How to Play

3. Find all the hidden words in the grid
4. Words can be horizontal, vertical, diagonal, or reversed
5. Swipe across letters to select a word

Finding Words

• Swipe to select: Touch the first letter and drag to the last letter
• Check the word list: Words you need to find are shown below or beside the grid
• Found words: Get crossed off the list and highlighted in the grid
• Stuck? Use hints (Pro feature) to reveal a letter or word

Daily Puzzles & Streaks

A new daily puzzle is available every day at midnight (your local time):

• Complete the daily puzzle to maintain your streak
• Your streak counts consecutive days of completing daily puzzles
• Missing a day resets your streak to zero
• Build long streaks to challenge yourself!

Frequently Asked Questions

Gameplay

How do I select a word?

Touch the first letter of the word you've found, then drag your finger across all the letters without lifting. Release when you reach the last letter. If it's correct, the word will be highlighted!

Can words go in any direction?

Yes! Words can be:

• Horizontal (left to right or right to left)
• Vertical (top to bottom or bottom to top)
• Diagonal (in any of the four diagonal directions)

Higher difficulty levels have more reversed and diagonal words.

I found a word but it didn't register. Why?

Make sure you're swiping across the exact letters in the correct order. The word must match one from the word list exactly. Also check that your swipe was continuous without lifting your finger.

Can I pause a puzzle and come back later?

Yes! Your progress is automatically saved. You can close the app and return anytime to continue where you left off.

What happens when I complete all levels in a category?

Congratulations! You'll unlock a completion badge for that category. You can replay levels to improve your time or try a higher difficulty.

Daily Puzzles & Streaks

When does the daily puzzle reset?

A new daily puzzle becomes available at midnight in your local time zone.

I completed yesterday's puzzle but my streak reset. Why?

Streaks are based on consecutive calendar days. If you complete a puzzle at 11 PM on Monday and then not again until 1 AM on Wednesday, you've missed Tuesday and your streak resets.

Can I go back and play previous daily puzzles?

Currently, only the current day's puzzle is available. Pro users may have access to a daily puzzle archive in future updates.

Is there a reward for long streaks?

The satisfaction of consistency! We may add streak rewards in future updates. Your streak count is displayed prominently to keep you motivated.

Pro Mode & Purchases

What's the difference between Monthly and Lifetime Pro?

• Monthly: Lower upfront cost, billed automatically each month. Cancel anytime.
• Lifetime: Higher one-time cost, but you own Pro forever with no recurring charges.

I purchased Pro but it's not showing. What do I do?

1. Make sure you're connected to the internet
2. Go to Settings in the app and tap "Restore Purchases"
3. If using a different device, make sure you're signed into the same App Store/Google Play account
4. Restart the app
5. If still not working, contact us with your purchase receipt

How do I cancel my monthly subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store, not within Word Find. See the "Managing Your Subscription" section above for instructions.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Visit their support pages to request a refund for your purchase.

If I cancel my subscription, do I lose my progress?

No! Your game progress is always saved. You'll just lose access to Pro features until you resubscribe. Your completed levels, stats, and streak remain.

Technical Issues

The app is crashing. What should I do?

1. Make sure you have the latest version (check your app store)
2. Restart your device
3. If crashes continue, try uninstalling and reinstalling (your Pro purchase will restore, but local progress may be lost)

The game is running slowly.

• Close other apps running in the background
• Restart your device
• Make sure you have enough storage space
• Check for app updates

My progress was lost after an update!

Game progress is stored locally on your device. In rare cases, updates may affect local storage. Unfortunately, we cannot recover local data. Your Pro purchases can always be restored via "Restore Purchases" in settings.

Does Word Find work offline?

Yes! Word Find works completely offline. The only features requiring internet are:

• Purchasing Pro mode
• Restoring purchases on a new device

Troubleshooting

Purchase Issues

• Purchase not recognized: Try "Restore Purchases" in app settings
• Charged but no Pro: Wait a few minutes and restart the app. If still missing, contact us with your receipt.
• Can't purchase: Check your App Store/Google Play payment method and internet connection

Gameplay Issues

• Words not selecting: Make sure you're swiping in a straight line and not lifting your finger
• Grid not loading: Restart the app or reinstall if the issue persists
• Daily puzzle not updating: Check your device's date/time settings are correct

Streak Issues

• Streak reset unexpectedly: Check if you missed a calendar day (not just 24 hours)
• Streak showing wrong number: Restart the app to refresh

Tips for Better Play

• Scan systematically: Look for words row by row or column by column
• Start with long words: They're often easier to spot
• Look for uncommon letters: Find Q, X, Z first - they narrow down word locations
• Check all directions: Don't forget diagonal and reversed words
• Use the word list: Focus on one word at a time
• Take breaks: Fresh eyes often spot words immediately
