About Word Find

Word Find is a word search puzzle game designed for fun and mental exercise. We believe in keeping things simple and respecting your privacy. This page explains our minimal data practices.

Our Privacy Promise

Word Find is designed with privacy at its core. We don't collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any servers. Your game is yours alone.

What We Collect

Short answer: Almost nothing.

Data Stored Locally on Your Device Only

The following information is stored only on your device and never leaves it:

• Game progress and completed levels
• Current category and difficulty settings
• Daily puzzle streak count
• Pro mode purchase status
• Your preferences (sound, theme, etc.)

This data exists only on your phone. If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted.

Purchase Information

If you purchase Pro mode (monthly or lifetime):

• All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play
• We never see or store your payment information
• We only receive confirmation that you have an active subscription or purchase

What We DON'T Collect

We take privacy seriously. Word Find (Barq Media) does NOT collect:

• Personal information: No name, email, phone number, or account required
• Location data: We don't access your GPS location
• Contacts: We don't access your contacts
• Photos or files: We don't access your device storage
• Usage analytics: We don't track how you play

Note: Third-party ad networks used in the free version may collect limited data for ad personalization (see Advertising section). Upgrade to Pro to eliminate all third-party data collection.

No Account Required

Word Find works completely offline and without any account. Just download and play. No sign-ups, no logins, no personal information needed.

Advertising

Word Find displays advertisements to free users. Here's what you need to know:

For Free Users

• Ads are shown between puzzles and in designated ad spaces
• We use third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob) to display ads
• These ad networks may collect certain data to show relevant ads (see "Ad Data Collection" below)

For Pro Users

• Pro mode removes all advertisements
• No ad-related data collection occurs for Pro users
• Upgrade to Pro (monthly or lifetime) to enjoy an ad-free experience

Ad Data Collection

Our advertising partners may collect:

• Device advertising identifier (can be reset or limited in your device settings)
• General device information (device type, OS version)
• Approximate location (based on IP address, not GPS)
• Ad interaction data (which ads you view or tap)

This data is collected by the ad networks, not by Barq Media directly. We do not have access to this information.

Your Ad Choices

You can limit ad personalization:

• iOS: Settings > Privacy > Tracking > disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
• Best option: Upgrade to Pro to remove all ads entirely

Pro Mode Purchases

Word Find offers optional Pro mode with two options:

• Monthly subscription: Recurring payment for Pro features
• Lifetime purchase: One-time payment for permanent Pro access

All purchases are processed securely through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). We have no access to your payment details. The stores handle all billing, receipts, and subscription management.

Your purchase status is stored locally on your device and verified through the app store's systems.

Daily Puzzles & Streaks

Word Find tracks your daily puzzle streak to encourage consistent play:

• Streak data is stored locally on your device only
• We don't upload or share your streak information
• There are no leaderboards or social features that share your data

Data Security

Since all game data stays on your device:

• Your data is protected by your device's built-in security
• No internet connection is required to play
• No risk of server breaches affecting your data

Children's Privacy

Word Find is safe for all ages. Since we don't collect any personal information, there are no special concerns for children's privacy. No account or personal data is ever required.

Third-Party Services

Word Find uses the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store / Google Play: For app distribution and in-app purchases
• Google AdMob (Free users only): For displaying advertisements

Pro users do not interact with any advertising services.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Uninstalling the app deletes all your game data
• You can clear app data through your device settings at any time
• There's no server data to request deletion of

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change our data practices (which we don't anticipate), we'll update this policy and the "Last Updated" date. Since Word Find doesn't collect data, significant changes are unlikely.
